Hello, I’m Adele

My name’s Adele and I am a plantaholic. I have been poring over, lusting after and working with plants for 15 years. Over that time I have amassed a huge passion for and lots of knowledge about our leafy buddies.

I think there is a plant for every situation. I’m sure that there is a plant for every person and I am 100% sure that every space is better when it’s green!

With Plants is my venture to get more people loving their gardens and interacting with nature on a daily basis.

I was born in London, live in hertfordshire, have a totally unrelated degree in Ancient history and Archaeology (it seems I just can’t get enough of mud) and once I decided to try horticulture it totally captured me.

I am C&G and RHS trained, I spent a year and a half at the Royal Parks Hyde Park and after that I have worked for 15 years in and out of private gardens, allotments and city balconies. For several years I worked with Henry Maynard Junior and Infants school (London) running gardening activity sessions and during the last 9 years I have collaborated with La Manoir La Jugie (France) to teach a gardening retreat in the glorious Limousine countryside.

I bring this wealth of experience and love of gardening to everything here at With Plants and here’s hoping it grows!
